Local artist competes for $15,000

Everybody has a creative side - she discovered hers in 2003.

Charlene Aycock took the plunge into photography before she moved to Mountain Home.

Starting with scenery in Pine and gradually moving into wedding shoots and portraits, she began to pursue it more seriously after she was told she has a "definite eye for it." Aycock began participating in educational workshops to learn more about the field she once considered a hobby.
