Could Mountain Home be the next member of BeeCity USA?

Pollinators are quickly becoming endangered, leading many cities throughout the nation to participate in BeeCity USA - Mountain Home may become the second Idaho city to join.

Brad Stokes, local University of Idaho Extension educator and new member of the Parks and Recreation board, has applied on the city's behalf to become a member of BeeCity USA, a non-profit organization which seeks to protect all native and introduced pollinators, including bees, moths and butterflies. If accepted, Stokes will serve as the liason between BeeCity USA and the city of Mountain Home.
