New nonprofit group forms

A newly formed local nonprofit group spent March 3 giving back to the local community. Elmore County Idaho Pheasants Forever Chapter 950 formed a little over a year ago. Since then they have hit the ground running, raising funds and educating local youth.

Pheasants Forever is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail, and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs. The organization works with youth to pass on a land ethic and outdoor heritage to the next generation of sportsmen.
