Decision made on future of Railroad Park and outstanding construction bill

After a meeting with City Council on Monday, the Western Elmore County Recreation District held a special meeting on Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. to discuss the fate of Railroad Park.

While Director Doug Meyer wasn't physically present, he was in attendance via phone.

It was quickly established that the board was not comfortable with the lengthy lease suggested at Monday's meeting by the City Council members.
