Rimco, Inc. land swap decision reached at City Council

Heartstrings were tugged at the City Council meeting on Jan. 22, during which a public hearing was held on the proposed land swap between the City of Mountain Home and Rimco, Inc.

A notice of the public hearing was published in all three of the previous editions of the Mountain Home News this year, which detailed the properties in question, including the value of the city-owned property.

Local citizen Tim Eckberg was the only speaker during the public hearing, bringing up valid points concerning the appraisal of the properties in question - a common concern throughout the night.
