Lending a helping hand...

Thursday, January 18, 2018
Contributing more aid to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, the B-Transfer team along with students from local schools sent two large crates full of supplies that are often overlooked, including blankets, school supplies and toiletries, to Gonzales, TX in late fall of 2017. Danielle Stubblefield, a B-Transfer coordinator, viewed this project as a way to encourage the children of Mountain Home to think of others in need outside of their local area. "When people take a step back and put themselves in someone else's shoes," Stubblefield said, "it makes it possible for a little generosity to add up to a lot." Each crate, weighing at least 1,400 pounds each, was tagged with the slogan "MH loves TX", with the letters l-o-v-e signified with a heart.
