Moving speeches at the annual prayer breakfast

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. played a monumental role in the Civil Rights movement half a century ago, and 50 years later, he is still being honored for his efforts.

The Mountain Home Community Black History Committee welcomed members of Mountain Home and a variety of pastors to a prayer breakfast the morning of Jan. 13 at the Elk's Lodge to honor Dr. King 50 years after his murder.
