Charles Eckenrod

Charles Eckenrod, “Chuck”, beloved husband, father and friend passed away Dec. 10, 2017, at home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, with full military honors by the American Legion Honor Guard. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Chuck served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force and receive numerous medals and awards to include the Vietnam Service Metal with Two Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Device and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Metal.

Chuck loved spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching BSU football, the outdoors and riding motorcycles. He spent many hours volunteering at American Legion Post 101.

Chuck is survived by his wife Vicki, his six daughters, his son and all of their spouses and numerous grandchildren as well as his two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Chuck’s name be sent to the American Legion Post 101, at 715 So. 3rd West, Mountain Home, ID 83647.
