Elmore County Commissioners held special meeting: Appointment of one open WECRD seat affected by local commissioners

After the successful recall of former WECRD Board Members Art Nelson and Judy Mayne on election night the questions started. Who and how will they be replaced?

According to state statutes it is Governor C. L. "Butch" Otter's job to choose an appointee for the position. On Wednesday, Nov. 8, the governor's office called the courthouse and asked for recommendations from Elmore County Commissioners.
