Dennis Grigg

Dennis Darrell Grigg, age 67, of Mountain Home, in the early hours of November 5, 2017, escaped the confinements of his ravaged body; he went pain free to be with those he loved.

Dennis was born on May 5, 1950, in Nampa, Idaho to Robert and Violet Grigg. Born an Idaho native, he loved the land, to hunt and fish and his family. As a Marine, he ventured to Hawaii, Nevada and finally Texas to become their native son.

Dennis leaves behind his mother Violet Silva, brother Richard, his sisters Cindy Hanke, Nancy Bostic and Laurie Waldron, his children Krista and Cody, four grandchildren, his faithful companion and rescue dog Rascal, as well as aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved him. Going ahead to await him were both sets of grandparents, his father Robert, brother Doug, aunts, uncles and friends.

Per his request, no services will be held. Coming to take him home to Texas, his forever love Gloria, will scatter his ashes with those of their canine children. Going home at last, we love you, Aunt Linda.

Memorials can be made in Dennis’s name to Mountain Home Human Society at P.O. Box 10 Mountain Home, Id. 83647 or an animal shelter of your choice.

Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
