Michael D. Bradbury “Mike”, 69, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at his home, following an illness.

A memorial service, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Mike was born on March 22, 1948, to Benjamin Elmer Bradbury and Arva Edria Pichler in San Francisco. He graduated January 1966 from William C Overfelt in San Jose.

He joined the US Marine Corps on Feb. 14, 1966 and served in Vietnam from October 1967 to November 1968, including Khe Sanh during Tet Offensive and the Battle of Khe Sanh. He earned a Purple Heart and a Presidential Citation.

He returned to the states and in July 1969 and re-enlisted into the US Air Force in September 1971. Mike retired from the Air Force, as an F-111 Crew Chief, in August of 1988.

He worked for BLM after retirement until 1997, then Marsh Aviation in Mesa, Arizona until a 2002 cancer diagnosis. He returned afterward to the place he loved, Mountain Home.

In 1972, he married Judith Annis and their son Dennis Michael Bradbury was born. In 1976 he married Susan Cutrer, and Daniel Joseph and Donna Marie were born. In 2005, he married Donna Helmandollar.

In 2006 Mike began treatment for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. He remained in remission until February of 2017.

Mike enjoyed shooting and hunting, classic cars, old movies, playing the guitar, boxing and model cars and trains.

Mike is survived by his friend and wife Donna Bradbury, son Dan Bradbury, daughter Donna Ryan, step daughters Pam Edington, and Kristina Aubert, brother Daven Bradbury, sister Robin Cassidy, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Dennis.
