Liz and Peter tie the knot

Elizabeth "Liz" Griffeath and Peter Chetney, both from Coos Bay, OR, were united in marriage on Sept. 2, 2017 at 6 p.m.

The wedding featured colors of navy blue and burgundy in a wooded setting just outside of Coquille, OR.

The bride's niece, Abigail Griffeath, played the role of ring bearer and flower girl. The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and now resides in Coos Bay, OR.

The bride is daughter of Tim and Joanne Griffeath of Mountain Home, ID. She is a 2008 graduate of Mountain Home High School.

The groom is son of Carey Chetney of North Bend, OR and Peter Chetney of Gearhart, OR.
