Terry Russell

Terry Eugene Russell, 52, of Prairie, Idaho passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side on Sunday Oct. 22, 2017.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday Oct. 28, 2017 at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge at 11:00 am with a reception to follow. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Terry was born in Mountain Home, Aug. 18, 1965, and was raised in Prairie on the family ranch. Terry was the son of Gene and Faye Russell, and the oldest of 4 siblings.

He graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1983.

Terry was passionate about ranching, hunting, family and friends.

After graduating from high school he moved to Stanley, and worked as a guide and later as a tree faller before returning to the family ranch in Prairie.

Terry enjoyed visiting with friends at weekend jackpot team ropings, rodeos, hunting at elk camp, and being with loved ones. He was passionate about helping others in any way possible and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

In 1988 Terry’s oldest son Steven was born. Terry raised Steven at his home in Prairie.

In 1997, Terry’s daughter Brittney was born and in 2000 he welcomed his second son TJ.

In 2013 Terry married his wife Brook and gained another daughter Waycee and son Rodee.

Terry lived his life to the fullest and quite possibly to the funniest.

Terry was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Terry is survived by his parents Gene and Faye Russell, his wife Brook, his children Steven (Danielle), Brittney, TJ, Waycee and Rodee. Sisters Dena (Toby) Hawkins, Amanda (Kevin) Drake, Gayle (Jeff) Palmer and countless aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
