Library seeks to repair roof, levy vote held in November

On Nov. 7, the citizens of Mountain Home will be asked to vote on a levy for roof repairs to the public library. The proposed two year override levy would cost $105,000 per year. The estimated cost per taxpayer is $1.82 per month for a home valued at $200,000.

In the fall of 2005, citizens approved a $1.5 million bond to double the size of the existing library.
