Power lines damaged in fire

The afternoon of Aug. 23, a fire broke out on two properties that were backed up against each other on South 13th East St. and South 14th East St.

"Before we left the station we could see a good column of black smoke," said Fire Chief Mark Moore. "We knew it was a large fire with a lot of fuel."
