These men were presented with Road Master certificates and free Carhart jackets at the Aug. 14 City Council meeting. Scott Ellsworth, the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council , LHTAC, representative that presented the awards, explained that these men had to take a certain number of credits and pass a multitude of exams to be considered a Road Master. The program takes about eight years to complete because it's normally only offered during the spring and fall, when crews have the least amount of work. Congratulations!
