Goodrich case court notes

Dr. John Goodrich

After finding "insufficient evidence to prove the charged offense beyond a reasonable doubt," Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Elmore County Jessica Kuehn moved to dismissed charges against Dr. John Goodrich.

Goodrich was originally charged with rape, incest and sexual abuse of a child under the age of 16. However, two of those charges were dropped and he was due to stand trial for lewd conduct with a child under sixteen when the charges were dropped.

Accusations came from his now 31 year old daughter, Chelsea Goodrich, over an incident more than 20 years ago. Dr. Goodrich made a confession to police investigators to the incident but Kuehn became unsure of prosecuting after other things "came up at a very suspicious time."For the full story, pick up a copy of the Mountain Home News or click on this link to subscribe to the newspaper's online edition.
