Annual pie and cake social coming soon

The annual cake and pie social sponsored by the Mountain Home Historical Society will be setting out sweets for the community Aug. 15 between 5:30 and 7 p.m. in front of the museum at 180 south 3rd East. Cakes and pies are supplied by community members and anyone who wishes to support the fundraiser can bring sweets on the 15th any time between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Some of goodies will be auctioned off and others will be served free to the public.

The cake and pie social is their largest annual fund raiser and membership drive. The community is encouraged to come out and join in the fun. Donations are welcome at anytime and anyone wishing to become a member of the museum can purchase a membership ranging between $15 for a single to $100 for a business membership.
