Ronda Cooley

Ronda Kaye Cooley, 61, of Mountain Home passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at St. Luke's Elmore Long Term Care, in Mountain Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 12, 2017 at River of Life Family Worship Center in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, located at 500 No. 18th East, in Mountain Home.

Ronda was born on December 17, 1955 in Boise, Idaho to Francis and Betty Lou (Buncheck) Antonson.

She lived and worked in Maryland for several years then returned to Idaho in 1985. There she met Robert Cooley. On October 24, 1986, they married and raised 2 children together in Meridian.

During that time, Ronda worked for the State of Idaho for 12 years and other jobs after that to include the Community Support Center in Boise. In 2015, Ronda moved to Mountain Home where she resided with her Aunt Bonnie until her passing.

Ronda loved animals and enjoyed watching SIFI movies! Her favorite book to read was the Bible.

Ronda is preceded in death by her father Francis Claire Antonson.

Ronda is survived by her mother Betty Lou (Buncheck) Welton, her sister ReJenna Braun of Michigan, brother Kurt Welton of Michigan, former husband and good friend Robert Cooley, 2 children; Melissa (Cooley) Cornwall of Caldwell, and Shiloh Cooley of Boise. She also had 2 grandsons which she loved greatly.
