MHEA negotiates contracts with Mountain Home school district

Negotiations are ongoing as Mountain Home Education Assocciation fights for a district-wide pay increase for the upcoming school year.

Beginning May 15, representatives from the MHEA and the district have been participating in “positive exchanges,” according to one MHEA member.

“The goal here is to be a team,” said Topher Wallaert, lead negotiator for the MHEA, “It’s not an ‘us versus them’ situation.”
