1943 - 2017

Faith Ann Diederich, 73, of Mountain Home, beloved wife to James died peacefully on July 25, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise. No formal services will be held. Cremation is under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Faith Ann was born Aug. 25, 1943, in Spokane, Wash., the daughter of Wilber and Betty Countryman. She married James C. Diederich, on July 21, 1967.

Faith Ann and James traveled the world while James was in the U.S. Air Force. They were stationed in England, Greece (Faith's favorite), Equator, Panama, Columbia and finally retired from Mountain Home Air Force Base.

After retiring and setting roots in Mountain Home, Faith Ann was able to get an adorable puppy named Pumpkin and kitten Baby Boots, which she loved for the last 15 years. Faith Ann was also a gourmet cook and loved her extensive cookbook collection.

Faith Ann will be greatly missed by her husband of 50 years, James C. Diederich of Mountain Home; her sister, Gail Blair; her brother, Walter Countryman both of Spokane, Wash.; and many relatives in Washington and Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
