School board officers selected as academic year nears

The Mountain Home school board started the new academic year by electing its district officers before moving on to the business of preparing for the arrival of students in August.

Elected officers include board chairman Eric Abrego and vice-chairman Ralph Binion with Sharon Whitman continuing as the district clerk.

After lining up the officers, the board moved on to address business continued from its previous meetings.
