Providing alternative education for teens in the local community, Richard McKenna Charter High School started to register students for the new academic year through its campus program last week with signups set to follow for its online academic program.

In addition to enrolling online, students and parents can register in person at the school's campus at 675 South Haskett St. from 9 a.m. to noon p.m. weekdays.

Classes at the Mountain Home campus begin Aug. 7. Registration for the school's online program starts this Tuesday with the first semester set to follow Aug. 14.
