Back-to-school registration set to begin next week

Registration for the 2017 to 2018 school year in the Mountain Home School District begins with online signups Aug. 2 and in-person registration following at most district schools Aug. 3.

Most schools in the district will open from 8 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 4 p.m. for in-person registration, although the district encourages parents to register returning students using the online option.

However, all new students must register in person. That includes all kindergarten students and those starting their first year in the local school district. Food service and bus transportation representatives will be at each school Aug. 3.
