Vigil honors Mountain Home woman's memory

Friday, July 28, 2017
A candlelight vigil held Thursday evening allowed people in the Mountain Home community to come together and pay their respects to the family of Justice Gump.

Friends and family paused last week to mourn the loss of a Mountain Home woman who was killed July 19.

A candlelight vigil Thursday evening honored the memory of Justice M. Gump, 25, who was fatally shot by Anthony A. Johnson, 30, before he took his own life.

"It's OK to cry; it's OK to mourn; it's also OK to celebrate her," Reverend Joseph Stall of the River of Life Family Worship Center said to mourners that gathered in Carl Miller Park.
