County budget talks continue

Budget and funding requests, taxing issues and the possible effects that a bill introduced by the state legislature would have on Elmore County dominated the Elmore County board of commissioners' first meeting of the month.

Funding requests for the new fiscal year came from John Keifer with the Elmore Soil and Water Conservation District, Debbie Shoemaker of the Mountain Home Museum and Jamie Hansen with the county family advocacy department.

These groups depend on being included in the city and county budgets to continue the work they do for the residents in the county.
