Jury deadlocked in local Catholic priest's trial

A trial involving the head of the local Catholic church remained unresolved after it ended in a mistrial on July 7.

Father Victor Jagerstatter faced charges of sexually assaulting an airman from Mountain Home Air Force Base last July.

During the trial, the jury was given two options regarding the charge. If they determined sufficient evidence was presented at the hearing, they could've found him guilty of felony rape by preventing resistance or battery with intent to rape.
