A three year old boy was critically injured with others in his family sustaining less-serious injuries during a rollover crash on the interstate Thursday morning.

A Boise man was returning from a vacation in California with his son and five year old daughter when he reportedly fell asleep at the wheel of his Pontiac GT in the westbound side of the interstate.

According to Deputy Brady Patterson with the Elmore County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle rolled off the shoulder and overturned near milepost 119 just west of Glenns Ferry. Eyewitnesses reported seeing both children being ejected from the car as it rolled.
