Wayne Waters

Wayne Allen Waters passed away on May 31, 2017, in Mountain Home at the age of 64. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, and the inurnment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.

Wayne was born Nov. 4, 1952, in Boise to Lloyd and Vivian Waters. He graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1971 and later went on to Boise State University to earn a degree in Accountancy.

In his younger years, Wayne was employed at the Mountain Home News, where he worked on everything from editing articles to setting type and running the press. Later in life, Wayne became an accomplished accountant who was passionate and dedicated to his work. His family will remember him as a loving, kind and driven person who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Wayne is survived by his spouse, Virginia; daughter, Josephine; step-children, Jayne and Karen; and sisters, Pam, Julie, Marla and Lorraine. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Vivian; step-child, Jason; brothers, Howard and Marty; and sister, Coleen.
