Aaron Thompson

Tuesday, May 30, 2017

Aaron Monte Weston Thompson, 30, of Mountain Home, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. He was born in St. George, Utah, on June 25, 1986.

Aaron was magnanimous by nature and loved freely. He saw good in everything and asked little from others.

A natural philanthropist, he gave what little he had to his Mountain Home community. As a visionary his hope was to build a better world for his family, friends, community and future. His unique sense of humor brought light into the world.

Those that knew him were delighted by his presence and congeniality. He was no stranger to fear.

His tenacious attitude and optimism carried him through many of life’s challenges. Aaron’s unconditional love was a cornerstone of his character. May his excellence shine on through the action of others.

Aaron is survived by his mother, Carla Winterholler; his stepfather, David Love; his father, Monte Barry Thompson; his sister, Amber Koski; his brothers, Alexander and Austin Thompson; and his extended family, all who will miss him dearly.

The family requests that donations in Aaron’s memory be sent to Idaho National Alliance of Mental Illness.

Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
