Clean sweep

Elia and Layton Cobos help pick up trash in the alleyway between North Main and North 2nd East streets as a team of volunteers spruced up the area in preparation for a large-scale art project. Local artists will transform the walls of additional businesses in the two block alleyway in the city's downtown area as the Community Canvas of Mountain Home effort resumes June 17.

Steve Gabriel rakes up weeds and cut grass as he begins cleaning up a gravel parking area along East 2nd North Street. Organizers have 35 additional canvas projects planned this year with additional businesses allowing artists to decorate the walls of their shops and stores to expand the outdoor galley with an official reveal of this work scheduled for July 4.
