Head Start sign-ups start

Seeking to help more families in the Mountain Home area, the Migrant Seasonal Head Start office here recently started registering families for its 2017 season.

Since 1971, the head start office has served Idaho farm workers from low-income families with a specific focus during the agricultural growing season, which runs from June to October.

Head Start is an early childhood education program, which enrolls children from birth to five years old. It's dedicated to promoting a child's success in school and in later life.
