Commissioners address projects
The Elmore County board of commissioners met May 12 to move forward with projects already in the works while starting a discussion on renewing a contract with the county's public defender.
The commissioners started the meeting by discussing an ongoing issue with residents dumping garbage at the site of the Canyon Creek recharge area north of Mountain Home.
The board wants to install a surveillance camera on an existing power pole owned by Idaho Power in an effort to identify and catch the culprits. However, the answer from utility company was "no."
