Sheriff honors local deputy

Recognizing outstanding performance in saving a human life, one of Elmore County's deputies received one of the department's highest honors.

During a ceremony Friday afternoon, Deputy Garret Kinnan received the Life Saving Medal from Sheriff Mike Hollinshead following his actions with the patrol division on March 4.
