The number of students that graduated from Mountain Home High School during the last school year exceeded the state average by more than four percent, according to information released this month by the Idaho State Department of Education.

During the 2015 to 2016 school year, the high school saw 83.9 percent of its students earn a diploma with the state average standing at 79.7 percent, which was a nearly one percent increase from the year prior.

These statistics represent "very positive" news for those who attend the high school, according to district superintendent James Gilbert.
