Cell tower concerns among issues addressed by county commissioners

Elmore County's board of commissioners started their weekly meeting April 21 by addressing a resident's concern over a cell phone tower in the Silver Sage Estates subdivision.

Randy Cunningham and Beth Bresnahan spoke to the commissioners over Cunningham's concern that increased radio frequencies and non-ionizing radiation have increased from the tower.

According to Cunningham's own tests, these levels have exceeded the 400 hertz limit deemed safe for human exposure by the Federal Communications Commission.
