Council addresses parking, pet issues

City ordinance regarding parked vehicles and nuisance animals in Mountain Home took center stage as the city council met with local residents during a meeting April 24.

With Mayor Rich Sykes inviting members of the audience to speak, Carl Vaughn highlighted an issue he had with neighborhood parking.

Vaughn requested the city council approve a new ordinance or amended an existing one to stop some home business that use heavy equipment and trailers. His concern is all of these trucks remain parked in front of the homes of these business owners.
