Students compete at HOSA tourney

A Mountain Home High School student walked away with a $1,000 scholarship with others earning individual honors during this year's Health Occupations Students of America state leadership conference, held recently in Boise.

Out of the dozen students from Mountain Home that attended this year, six of them placed in various medical competitions.

Elisabeth Stephens was Mountain Home's scholarship recipient while Gisselle Raddatz finished first in the state in the chapter reflection event. Stephens, along with Cortney Yulis, finished third in community awareness.
