Mountain Home Arts Council joins Idaho Gives charity drive

The Mountain Home Arts Council is one of nearly 700 non-profit groups across Idaho hoping to receive their share of more than $1 million in donations during a yearly event scheduled for Thursday, May 4.

Idaho Gives, the state’s largest single day of giving, is a 24-hour campaign that encourages people to support non-profit groups like the arts council, which is the only local area group participating this year.

Starting at midnight Thursday, individuals and businesses can make donations by going online to http://idahogives.org. They can select the Mountain Home Arts Council in addition to any of their other participating non-profit organizations up through 11:59 p.m. that evening.
