The military medical facility at Mountain Home Air Force Base remains on track to start shutting down some of its medical services in June.

The facility will transition from an inpatient hospital to an outpatient clinic by mid-summer.

Under this plan, the base hospital will eliminate in-patient services, including its general surgery, maternity and in-patient hospital departments, according to Col. Andrew Moore, commander of the 366th Medical Group at the base.
