Mountain Home High School's top artists, performers honored during yearly fine arts awards ceremony

Artists, musicians, singers, writers, craftsmen and performers gathered at Mountain Home High School last week to recognize the outstanding achievements of selected students during a yearly ceremony April 18.

Celebrating its 12th anniversary, the creative art awards show presented 17 awards to students representing the school's various clubs and fine arts programs in recognition of their ability to far exceed expectations in the fine arts.

The students recognized at last week's ceremony worked long hours at school and at home to perfect their respective art forms, according to school officials.
