Purging the lines

Mountain Home firefighter Brett Young tests a fire hydrant on East 10th North Street as part of a city-wide seasonal check of the system. Firefighters will continue testing hydrants across the city into May as firefighters identify possible broken or faulty equipment. Young and firefighter Kristopher Wallert said the department has already found at least one hydrant in need of repairs following this year's record-setting winter.
