Students Kya Duvall, Layney Hawkinson and Avarie Knight from Hacker Middle School address the school board on project-based learning during a meeting April 18.

Two members of the Mountain Home School Board will maintain their seats after no one registered to run for their positions, according to information presented at a public meeting April 18.

Trustees Connie Yrazabal Donahue, who represents Zone 4, and Frank Monistario, who serves residents in Zone 2, are being reappointed with the scheduled election cancelled.

Following the announcement, the board opened the floor to a presentation by fifth grade students from Hacker Middle School. Students presented an explanation of project-based learning, a method that teachers Kristopher Walleart and Brett Young have used this year.
