Mayor Rich Sykes reads "Bark, George" by Jules Feiffer to children that gathered at the Mountain Home Public Library during its Drop Everything and Read Day celebration April 12. Featuring cake, stories and crafts, the yearly event coincided with the birthday of noted children's author Beverly Cleary, who would've celebrated with 101st birthday this year.
