Laura Patzkowsky

Laura Renee (Weber) Patzkowsky, 48, of Mountain Home, passed away at St. Luke's Elmore Long Term Care on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. A Celebration of Laura’s Life will be held at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 11 a.m.

Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Laura was born May 24, 1968, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Harry and Linda Weber. She graduated from Thompson Valley High School in Loveland, Colo., and then Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D.

She was a teacher in the Mountain Home School District for 25 years. She was very devoted to her students and her co-workers.

In her free time, her hobbies included knitting and crocheting. She loved making scarves and hats for chemo patients and preemies.

Laura will be dearly missed by her husband, Timothy Patzkowsky; her daughter, Madeleine; her parents, Harry Weber and Linda Weber, both of Loveland, Colo.; and her sister, Amy Weber of Denver, Colo.; and her many close friends.

The family requests that memorials in Laura’s name be sent to any cancer research foundation.
