Home sales hit 10-year high

The total number of homes sold in Elmore County hit a 10-year high with the price of real estate continuing to steadily increase after the local real estate market crashed nearly a decade ago.
The sale of 482 homes in 2016 represented a nine percent increase compared to figures from 2007 when the local real estate market peaked, according to information released last week by the Elmore County Board of Realtors
