Devin Wayne Meyers, 26, formerly of Grand View, passed away at his home in Boise on Sunday, April 2, 2017. A viewing will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Rimrock Jr. / Sr. High School in Grand View. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Devin was born Aug. 14, 1990, the son of Douglas and Sheila Meyers. He attended schools in Meridian and Kuna before moving back to Grand View and graduated from Rimrock Jr. / Sr. High. He attended welding school at College of Southern Idaho before leaving to work in the oil fields of North Dakota.

Devin’s passions included welding, running equipment, farming, hunting and shooting, as well as riding motorcycles and four-wheelers. His was one of a kind — he had a contagious smile and always a witty comment.

Devin had a fearless attitude, and could be known as a rebel. He will be deeply missed.

Devin is survived by his mother, Sheila Meyers of Boise; his father, Douglas and his wife, Jennifer Meyers of Grand View; his brothers, Danny and his wife Lana DeBeaumont of Boise and Michael Dylan Meyers of Boise; his step-sister, Jaden Pollard of Grand View; his paternal grandmother, Cherry Meyers of Grand View; his maternal grandparents, John and Sandra Riegles of Boise; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ray Meyers.
