Hundreds gather at foundation's yearly banquet

Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages took time to drop tickets in collection buckets in hopes of winning rifles, original artwork and other prizes featured at during the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's annual banquet, held Saturday at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge.

People from Mountain Home, Glenns Ferry and surrounding communities gathered on Saturday during a yearly event aimed at promoting big game habitat and restoration.

An estimated crowd of more than 350 hunting and outdoor enthusiasts packed into the Mountain Home Elks Lodge that evening during the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet.
