Large-scale narcotics arrests and investigation

K9 officer who aided in marijuana seizure.

Over President's Day weekend, local law enforcement seized more than 6.5 pounds of marijuana during an investigation. The drug trafficking investigation is still ongoing at this time.

Elmore County Sheriff's Office's Patrol, Narcotics Unit, and K9 Unit, with assistance from the Mountain Home Police Department Patrol Division, conducted a large-scale narcotics investigation. The conclusion of the investigation resulted in the arrest five individuals involved with Trafficking large amounts of marijuana into the City of Mountain Home.

John E. Bauer of Mountain Home was arrested on two counts of felony delivery of a controlled substance and one count of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Leonard Partida III of Mountain Home was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and felony aiding in the delivery of a controlled substance.

Christina S. Guglielmo and William V. Guglielmo of Ontario, Ore., were arrested on charges of Drug Trafficking. Gabriel Partida of California was arrested for felony delivery of a controlled substance and felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.

  • By the definition of the word perhaps it is, a narcotic is ANY drug that is illegal. But come on, to behave that a few pounds of weed is comparable to a bust of even minute amounts of heroin, cocaine, L.S.D., opium, methamphetamine etc., is almost embarrassing. I understand it is illegal, but it will likely be legalized soon enough. I suggest more training and effort be placed on taking the heavier more damaging drugs off the streets, then law enforcement will have a real reason to pat themselves on the back.

  • When it is legalized it will not longer be considered a narcotic. Funny how such a fine line can define a substance. Want to discuss this further how about telling me who you really are!
