Valentines' effort planned

The Mini's R Us Therapy Group and Canyon Creek Bark N Moo 4-H club invites people in the local area to help make Valentine's Day cards for elderly members of the community during a program scheduled for Jan. 29.

Scheduled to run from 1:30 to 4 p.m. that day at Odd Fellows Hall, organizers hope to create more than 400 cards during the afternoon. Members from both 4-H groups will then deliver the cards to members of the Veterans Administration home in Boise as well as residents in the Mountain Home area.
